These terms apply to your use of the app Portfolio Tracker (“the app”). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What the app is

The app is a tool for keeping a record of your own investments and for looking at market information. It stores what you enter on your device and shows values worked out from it and from market data downloaded from third parties. How your information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

Not investment advice

Nothing in the app is investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, an offer, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Prices, indices, exchange rates, yields and the figures worked out from them come from third parties, may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, and are shown for information only. The values of your portfolio are estimates: they depend on what you entered and on the data available. Please check important figures with your broker or another reliable source before you act. The automatic estimate of a property is only an indication based on statistics of a whole country, it is not a valuation of that property, and your own estimate takes precedence over it. Your decisions are your own.

Price and support

• The app is free. All its features are free to use.
• Support. If a way to support the developer is offered, it is voluntary. It does not give you any additional right, feature or guarantee, and it is not a payment for a service.
• Future changes. We may later offer optional paid features. If we do, we will say so in the app and here before the change applies, and we will not take away the data you entered.

Your use of the app

• You are responsible for what you enter and for keeping backups. Data is stored only on your device, so it can be lost if the device is lost or reset. The backup function helps, but the backup file is yours to keep safe.
• Use the app for your own, lawful purposes. Do not copy, resell or reverse engineer it, and do not overload the services it uses.
• The app is not meant for children under 16.

Availability and changes

The market data comes from third-party services that we do not control. They may be slow, unavailable or change, and some figures may not always be available. We may improve, change or stop parts of the app. We try to tell you about important changes in advance.

Liability

The app is provided “as it is”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that result from using the app or from relying on the figures it shows, including investment decisions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you, or liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the use

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may end access if the terms are seriously broken.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the app changes. The date above shows the latest version. If a change is important we will tell you in the app or here before it applies.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic, without removing the protection that mandatory consumer law of your country of residence gives you.
